Anti-racism Guides & Policies

Co-ops Anti-Racism (CAR) is a small group of volunteers working to identify and remove obstacles that could prevent Black people and POC from establishing, or joining, or staying in UK worker co-ops.

We have run workshops and commissioned training for workers.coop . Our latest initiative is to build a collection of anti-racism guides and policies that can help worker co-ops in a practical way, to identify barriers to membership and reasons why Black people and POC may not wish to stay in a co-op once recruited.

This work is ongoing, we have to date identified a handful of guides and policies and we are grateful to RadHR for their work in this field.

So if you are aware of any resources which you think could be useful additions to this work, please let us know. I can be contacted at: kate@cooperantics.co.uk
